Navaratri is a 9 day festival celebrated all over india as the destruction of evil by the divine mother. And the tenth day is known as dussera which symbolises the same. People worship the 9 forms of the divine mother and just like every year all the streets are lit up with decor and pujas performed in temples and processions, cultural programs arranged.

Though we maybe stuck at work all day these decor and processions are hard to miss, especially in the evenings when we are back from work.

This festive spirit has rubbed on me and i have been inspired to make on ode to it in my own way.

Here is my attempt modelled on the goddess idol which is depicted everywhere in posters.
