Mehendi is an art form by itself.it is a henna paste used by women mainly of indian,arabic,pakistani origin to decorate their hands and feet.
When it is applied the colour is of dark brown-black paste which can be left to dry overnight and when washed dyes your skin to orangish red. Here is a design inspired by this art form where the design in black represents freshly applied mehendi.
Have always wanted to depict a peacock in my designs. And have always wanted to do it in a way differently from others. In this design the peacock is the center point and its depicted in a stately pose resting on the circular patterns under a flowering tree. Tried to achieve the effect which reminds one of india and indian taditional designs.
