Wreaths have always fascinated me. And when i came across this coir fibre material nothing could stop me. Ideas started having a disco in my mind and i could do nothing but move to the beats:)
So here is my version of a wreath with the fibre as the highlight.
In this art piece I have tried to experiment and make models based on real world items.There is grass that can be found in clumps between rocks that has been my inspiration for the grass in dark green. And ofcourse there is a maple leaf. Have also tried to model a tapioca plant leaf.Other items used are plastic pearl beads,coconut leaf products.
As you know flowers and plants inspire me and I love mixing man made items with the natural ones.So the loops in black reflect this and also act in breaking the monotony caused by the green gold and electric pink combination.
