Indian parades while may be part of daily life for some but for others it is fascinating.Like the mysore dassera parade that people from all over the world flock to see. And my favorite part of parades are the elephant.Here part of the parade reproduced to look like it is an image from a book about parades.I have used peacock feathers in this art piece to bring out the effect one would get when one is perusing through an old book and comes across a page with peacock feathers saved in the book to mark the page and the page unfolds these memories of parades and rituals from ancient India which people in cities seldom get to enjoy.The artwork is inspired from http://www.indiavision.com/blog/2009/03
